He jumped, hearing the drums start up in his head.
“Eh, true…” Chandler mumbles, also looking at his phone.Īnd now, Karl goes back to humming to himself, the song still coursing through his head. “That’s either because it doesn’t exist yet, or you haven't met them… Or both.” Jimmy says, finally looking up from his phone. “I’ve never met someone with the same song as me!” “I mean, how do we even know the songs are real ?” Chandler pipes in. “This is my song! And it’s a glorious one too!”Ĭhris walks in, his son strapped to his chest. “I already told you, Beast!” Karl looks at him, smiling as he uses his common nickname of Beast. “Why must you keep singing that man!” Jimmy says from across the room, probably scrolling through Twitter. He could easily remember all the lyrics, memorized since the day of his sixteenth birthday. The drums at the beginning resounding through his skull before the lyrics and guitar began. The song ran through his head for the upteenth time.
